The setup matters

Knee pain is a common problem in executing Nordic Hamstring Exercise (NHE). Especially if athletes approach the floor, the pressure on the patella progressively increases. This pain impairs muscle activation and force generation. A recent study demonstrated that the use of HAM’s HELL (fixed resistance and free knee caps) significantly improves the NHE performance by 25%. Consequently, the setup matters for related hamstring exercises. Try it by yourself to feel the vast difference. Your knees will thank you!
